About Early Learning

The ESD 113 Early Learning Program offers preschool classes for children ages 3 and 4 years old. Head Start is an early learning program funded by the federal government. Head Start provides services to children who are disabled, low-income, being fostered, or experiencing homelessness (McKinney-Vento). Head Start provides high-quality services around social-emotional development, health, nutrition, family engagement, and kindergarten readiness.
